Patel capped off her four-year collegiate cross country career this fall by becoming the fourth STLCOP women’s cross country runner ever to individually qualify for the NAIA Cross Country Championships. She earned her third cross country All-Conference award in the process, finishing fifth of 77 runners at the AMC Championships. She is currently the third-fastest women’s 5K runner in STLCOP history with a personal best of 19:24. In addition to Patel’s athletic accomplishments, she is a two-time recipient of the cross country Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, and three-time member of the AMC Academic All-Conference team. During this, her senior year of cross country, she was named to the first-ever AMC Champions of Character team.
