Lohman Named AMC Pitcher of the Week

ST. LOUIS, MO.  – UHSP pitcher Barrett Lohman has been named the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Pitcher of the Week for Mar. 2-8.

Lohman threw his second consecutive complete game notching a win 2-1 win over Central Baptist on Friday. He held the Mustangs to just three hits and struck out 10 without giving up an earned run against CBC. In each of his last three starts, Lohman has struck out eight or more, going at least six innings and has yielded a combined six earned runs. 

Lohman was one of five pitchers nominated for the AMC award this week.

This is Lohman's first Pitcher of the Week nod for the 2026 season. The 2025 second-team all-conference and gold-glove selection received two POW honors last year.

Lohman is the second UHSP player to receive Player of the Week honors this season. Teammate Tristan Calmes was named AMC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 23. They are among three individual Eutectic players to receive the award in program history.
