The Eutectics also came home with three new school records, including the women's 4x200m relay, the men's long jump (Evan McVey) and the women's 400m dash (Flores). The UHSP teams hit 14 personal-best performances at the meet.

  • Macon-Ford ran anchor for UHSP's first-place finishing 4 x 200m relay. Shamari LongMariah Scott, and Emerald Flores ran the first three legs of the relay to finish at 1:52.38, besting the previous UHSP record set last season by nearly a second.
  • Flores also improved her own Eutectic record in the 400m dash, finishing 1:06.19 for 14th place of 31 runners.
  • Taylor Shobe (Washington) finished third in the finals of the 60m hurdles. She qualified for the finals with the third-fastest time (of 16) of 9.51 seconds, then improved her time to 9.43 in the finals to make the third place official. Addison Plazek and Scott also qualified for the finals, finishing in seventh and eighth places, respectively.
  • Rylee Eng recorded two top-10 finishes at the meet, picking up fifth place (of 13) in the triple jump at 10.28m (33'8.75") and eighth (of 28) in the long jump at 4.78m (15'8.25"). Campbell Powell also qualified for finals in the triple jump, finishing in seventh place with a new personal record of 9.93m (32'7").

MEN:

  • In his first collegiate long jump competition, Evan McVey smashed the 14-year-old Eutectic record in the event by 3.5 inches. Leaping 6.31m (20'8.5") in prelims to qualify for three more jumps in finals, McVey jumped 6.52m (21'4.75") in the finals to finish in fourth place of 40 jumpers competing. The new record knocks out Brian Pankey's previous record of 6.43m (21'1.25) set in 2012. McVey now tops the American Midwest Conference performance list for the long jump as well as the 60m dash.
  • Amari Wiedemeier finished ninth of 40 sprinters in the 400m dash. With his time of 54.11, he becomes the third-fastest 400m runner in UHSP history.
  • Kristopher St. Clair PRed in the weight throw with a toss of 10.52m (34'6.25") to earn the last spot on the Eutectic All-Time Top-Five list for the event.
