UHSP Boasts Four All-Conference and 22 Academic All-Conference Selections

ST. LOUIS, MO. – On Monday, the American Midwest Conference (AMC) announced the 2025 selections for Softball All-Conference honors, including four UHSP players on the list – a record for the Eutectic program. Emma Henley, Hallie Roper, and Kailey Samora were all named to the All-AMC Second Team, while Alicia Kimble earned Third-Team honors. Jacy Knox was the UHSP representative on the Champions of Character Team. The Eutectic team also notched a record-22 softball student-athletes with Academic All-Conference honors.

Emma Henley, a junior pitcher from Columbia, Mo., is the only repeat All-Conference awardee for the Eutectics this season, having earned Third-Team honors last season. Henley appeared in 19 games for UHSP in 2025, recording four wins and 45 strikeouts, averaging 2.83 strikeouts per seven innings.

Junior transfer third-baseman Hallie Roper, of Norris City, Ill., and senior outfielder Kailey Samora of Torrance, Calif., are first-time All-AMC selections, earning Second-Team honors. Roper broke the school record for single-season RBIs, racking up 33 in her 130 plate appearances, finishing the season with a .381 batting average. Samora led the team with 47 hits and 35 runs, tying for second in UHSP single-season history, and boasting a batting average of .379 at the end of the season.

Freshman outfielder Alicia Kimble, of Madisonville, Tenn., earned Third-Team All-Conference honors, leading the team with a .390 batting average and tallying 31 RBIs in 100 at-bats.

Sophomore catcher/utility player Jacy Knox, of Woodlawn, Ill., was named to the AMC Champions of Character team, recognizing one athlete per Conference team who best exemplifies the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

The UHSP team also broke a program record with 22 student-athletes qualifying for AMC Softball Academic All-Conference honors: Karsyn Black, Lacie Christensen, Hannah Duggan, Karlea Frey, Kaylin Haas, Emma Henley, Sydney Hinojosa, Talianna Joyner, Eva Kameoka, Alicia Kimble, Alexis Knoll, Jacy Knox, Aubrey Lasek, Payton McClellan, Trysten Murphy, Makenzie Ness, Hunter Noto, Kaylee Park, Payton Reinbott, Kailey Samora, Reese Smith, and Kendal Strozier.

The Eutectics finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 12-26 and a record 5-17 in Conference competition, just missing an invitation to the AMC post-season tournament.
