UHSP’s Kimble Named NFCA All-Region

LOUISVILLE, KY. – UHSP softball outfielder Alicia Kimble has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) 2026 NAIA All-Region 2nd-Team.

The award honors student-athletes from the Association's six NAIA regions with selection to one of two teams. NFCA-member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.

Kimble is among 147 student-athletes from 63 schools who comprise the 2026 NFCA NAIA All-Region teams. She was one of three outfielders selected for the 12-player roster compiling the NAIA Region 1 2nd-Team. Kimble is the second Eutectic in history to be recognized by the NFCA. UHSP infielder Michelle Hollon received second-team honors in 2022.

This spring, Alicia Kimble led the American Midwest Conference (AMC) with a .468 batting average and .741 slugging percentage – the highest season averages in Eutectic program history. The catcher/outfielder was named AMC Hitter of the Week on Mar. 23, when she hit .571 (12-for-21) with a .810 slugging percentage and .609 on-base percentage. With 65 hits on the season, including 14 doubles, three triples, and six home runs, she has made her mark on the UHSP record books.

Kimble helped the Eutectics to their most-ever wins in a season, finishing with a record of 19-20 overall. The Eutectics qualified for the Conference tournament with a sixth-place ranking in the AMC standings.

Following her stellar sophomore season, Alicia Kimble collected 2026 1st-team All-Conference honors in the American Midwest Conference (AMC). As a freshman in 2025, she was named to the All-AMC 3rd-Team.

Kimble adds the NFCA award to her already lengthy list of accolades from 2026, including CSC Academic-All-District, NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-Conference, and UHSP's "Most Clutch Hitter" team award.
