Eutectics Fall to the Vikings on the Road
MARSHALL, MO – The Eutectics traveled to Missouri Valley College for a non conference matchup on Thursday evening. UHSP looked to generate momentum as they continued their early season road stretch, but despite a strong fourth quarter surge, the Eutectics fell to the Vikings.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

• UHSP saved their best offensive stretch for the fourth quarter with 23 points, showing resilience and improved rhythm as they fought to close the gap late.
• Missouri Valley opened the game with a 25 point first quarter that created early distance. Both teams played evenly in the second quarter with 7 points each, keeping the margin stable at halftime.
• Montasia McAllister led UHSP with an excellent 25 point performance on 7 for 17 shooting and 10 for 12 at the line. She added 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block.
• Aryanna Bull delivered strong bench production with 14 points and 8 rebounds, giving UHSP a dependable interior presence.
• Reece Halley added 8 points and 4 rebounds, contributing steady minutes in the frontcourt.
• UHSP held their own on the boards with 44 rebounds overall, including 18 offensive rebounds that created second chance opportunities.
• Shooting consistency was a challenge for UHSP. The team finished at 25 percent from the field and 13 percent from three, while Missouri Valley shot 35 percent overall and 46 percent from deep.
• Free throw shooting remained a strength for the Eutetics. UHSP finished 24 for 31 at the line for 77 percent.
• UHSP forced 12 steals and showed active hands throughout the night, but Missouri Valley's ball movement resulted in 18 assists and key perimeter scoring.
• Missouri Valley's Jessica Reeter finished with 30 points, including 13 for 14 at the free throw line, pacing the Vikings' offense.

UHSP (3-7) returns home for their next matchup against Mission University (5-6) on December 15th at 5:30 PM. The Eutectics look to take advantage of their home floor and secure a key win as they continue building momentum through the month of December.
