Four Named Academic All-District
Four Eutectic basketball players have received Academic All-District honors by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization for the 2025-26 season: Reece Halley and Sara Hameed from the UHSP women's team, and Landon Engelage and Christian Harwood from the men's team.
The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The program has been honoring outstanding academic and athletic achievement by student-athletes throughout the landscape of college sports since 1952.
All four Eutectic players were also named NAIA Scholar-Athletes, along with teammates Arianna Buduan and Braylon Rios.
This year's Academic All-District and NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards are the third for seniors Sara Hameed and Landon Engelage. Senior Reece Halley and sophomore Christian Harwood receive both awards for the first time in their careers.
Landon Engelage has been selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Engelage's stellar season earned him several Conference accolades, including: Second-Team All-Conference, AMC All-Tournament Team, AMC Player of the Week, and AMC Champions of Character Team. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14.
