Eutectics battle to 4th place finish at MoBap Invitational
ALTON, IL – The Eutectics finish 4th in the Missouri Baptist University Fall Invitational at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course that finished up on Tuesday. UHSP shot a 385 (+97) on day one and then were six strokes better on day two with a 379 (+91). UHSP finished in fourth place overall out of the six teams in the field, 28 strokes in front of Central Baptist and 35 strokes in front of Missouri Baptist. Harper Ready was the top Eutectic as she finished eighth overall with a two-day total of 170 (+26). She was tied for fifth after round one and finished the tournament four strokes out of tying for fifth place overall.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Ready recorded ten pars in her first round on Monday and was only four-over-par after her front nine. Ready had six pars in round two.
- Addison Sullivan was one stroke better on day two than day one as she went 88-87. She ended in 15th place overall (+31). Sullivan performed much better on the back-nine on both days and birdied the par-5, 442-yard 18th hole on both days.
- Grace Wilkinson came in 25th place with a 203 (+59). She took 13 strokes off her score from her round one score of 108 to her day two total of 95, that included the par-3 14th hole in round two.
- Zoe Lopez finished two spots behind Wilkinson in 27th place. She went 107-109 for a 216 two-day total (+72). Lopez had two pars during the tournament.
- Bethel was a runaway winner of the tournament with a team score of +54, well outdistancing second-place William Woods who was at +104. Durbin Chacon of Bethel won the tournament with a 151 (+7), two strokes better than teammate Annabelle Cziezerski.

The Eutectics wrap up the fall season with back-to-back tournaments beginning on October 20 at the Columbia Cougar Classic at Columbia Country Club. The following week they are at Eagle Knoll Golf Club in Hartsburg, MO for the William Woods Invitational starting on October 27.
