Four Eutectics Named First-Team All-Conference

ST. LOUIS, MO. – After a record-setting 8-4-1 regular season for the Eutectic women's soccer team, the American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced a record-four UHSP athletes have earned First-Team All-Conference honors:

Campbell Slemmer – Defense
Alexa Hildebrand – Midfield
Lyla Stegmann – Midfield
Izzy Rogers – Forward

The honors were announced on Tuesday, Nov. 4, prior to the Quarterfinal round of the AMC tournament, for which UHSP earned the fourth seed after a 4-2 victory over No. 2-seed Williams Baptist University on Saturday.

The First-Team All-AMC honor is the second for senior midfielder, Alexa Hildebrand, who was also named Newcomer of the Year in 2024. Hildebrand played all 13 UHSP games this season, scoring six total goals – including two against WBU on Saturday. She also contributed four assists for a total of 16 points on the season.

Sophomore forward Izzy Rogers is also receiving her second AMC All-Conference nod, having earned a spot on the Second-Team last season. Rogers broke the Eutectic program records for career and season goals this fall, notching 12 goals this season to tally 20 overall. She ranks second in the Conference for goals and added six assists this season for 30 total points.

Transfer senior defender Campbell Slemmer has been key to the Eutectics' backfield success this season. As sweeper, Slemmer has been instrumental in limiting the number of opponents' goals to 33 on the season, averaging 2.54, the best since the 2021 season for the Eutectics. In addition to her defensive prowess, she has added two goals on five shots.

Freshman midfielder Lyla Stegmann made her mark on UHSP soccer quickly, earning her first collegiate hat trick in the Eutectics' 6-1 victory at Central Baptist on Oct. 4. She has finished the regular season with 10 goals on 50 shots to rank sixth in the Conference tied for second in the Eutectic record books. She also contributed five assists for a total of 25 points.

Sophomore defender Sarah Agnew was named to the AMC Champions of Character team, which recognizes one athlete per Conference team who best exemplifies the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

This is the first time that UHSP has ever had four All-Conference players on the First Team. Prior to this season, they have never had more than one.

The Eutectics will begin their post-season journey by hosting an AMC Quarterfinals game on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 12 p.m. at Saint Louis University High School. The #4-Eutectics (3-2-1 AMC) will take on the #5-Stephens College Stars (3-3-0 AMC) in the game determining who will advance to the semifinal matchup at #1-Columbia College on Friday, Nov. 7.
