Eutectics land a pair on AMC All-Tournament Team

ST. LOUIS, MO - The American Midwest Conference on Thursday unveilved the players named to the 2025 AMC Posteason All-Tournament Team. UHSP saw Alexa Hildebrand and Campbell Slemmer named to the list. In a season in which the Eutectics won their first-ever AMC Tournament game and thus advanced to their first-ever semifinal, it is appropriate that for the first time they land two players on the All-Tournament Team.

Hildebrand claims her spot on the list for the second straight year as she was the UHSP lone representative last season. Even though she was not directly involved with either of the Eutectics' goals in their 2-1 win over Stephens in the Quarterfinals, Hildebrand was instrumental in controlling the offense and setting up the chances that UHSP did generate.

Slemmer has been the Eutectics' top defender all season and was named to the team for her defensive prowess. Her ability to break up potential scoring chances by the opponent has been on display all season and in the two games UHSP played in the tournament.

The 13-player team is led by Tournament Most Valuable Player Georgia Pardalos, a midfielder from Tournament Champion Columbia College.

The All-Tournament Team was selected by the six Tournament-qualifying coaches. The MVP is voted on by a selection committee of two coaches and the conference staff.

Pardalos scored twice in the semifinals against Health Sciences & Pharmacy, leading the Cougars to a 7-0 victory. In the championship match, she delivered the game-winning goal in the 67^th minute on a penalty kick against Harris-Stowe — the lone score of the contest — securing the Cougars' 11^th consecutive tournament title.
