Eutectics Sweep AMC Runner of the Week Honors

ST. LOUIS, MO. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) announced on Monday that UHSP swept the cross country "Runner of the Week" (ROW) honors for the week of Oct. 13-19. Hannah Nation won the women's cross country ROW and Jack Wolfe took the award for men's cross country.

Nation and Wolfe travelled with the UHSP teams to Greenville, Ill., on Friday to compete in the Greenville Cross Country Invitational.

Hannah Nation – AMC Women's Runner of the Week

Hannah Nation, a freshman from Williamsville, Ill., took top honors for the women's award. Nation finished 17th of 71 runners with a time of 20:54 for the 5K race. It is her second AMC Runner of the Week honor, having received the award after her very first collegiate race back on Sept. 10th.

Jack Wolfe – AMC Men's Runner of the Week

Jack Wolfe, a junior from Springfield, Ill., was selected as the AMC men's runner of the week. Wolfe finished the Greenville men's 8K in 28th place of 92 runners. His time of 29:01 was 37 seconds faster than his previous best. The Runner of the Week honor is a career-first for Wolfe, who is also a member of the Eutectic men's soccer team.

Nation, Wolfe, and the rest of the Eutectic men's and women's cross country teams will play host to both high school and collegiate teams at the 2025 Mikayla Sherrill Fall Classic on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Willmore Park in St. Louis.
