Williams Baptist pulls away late against Eutectics

ST. LOUIS, MO – The UHSP women's basketball team fell 109–90 to Williams Baptist (AR) on Saturday afternoon in American Midwest Conference action. After battling through a competitive first half, the Eutectics were unable to keep pace with a high-powered Eagles offense that took control in the third quarter.

Williams Baptist carried an eight-point lead into halftime before opening the second half with a 32-point third quarter to create separation. UHSP responded with its best offensive frame in the fourth, scoring 35 points, but the deficit proved too large to overcome.
