COLUMBIA, MO – The Cougars remained undefeated all-time against UHSP as Columbia rolled to a 7-1 victory over the Eutectics on Saturday afternoon. Georgia Pardalos and Izzy Cole each scored a pair of goals for the Cougars in the win.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
COLUMBIA 7, UHSP 1
- Hannah Shylanski and Kourtney Blatz also registered first-half goals for Columbia en rout to a 6-1 halftime lead.
- The game featured four goals scored in the first ten minutes as CC built a 3-1 lead.
- The Cougars outshot the Eutectics 12-4 in the first half.
- Dani Nether played the first half for UHSP and suffered the loss. She made four saves and allowed six goals. Susan Bradford made five saves and allowed a lone goal in the second half.
- The Cougars ended up outshooting UHSP 19-6 in the contest including 16-4 in shots on goal.
- Entering the game in 11 previous meetings, UHSP had never scored a goal against Columbia.
- Columbia improves to 12-0 all-time against the Eutectics.
