Engelage and Halley Named to All-Tournament Team
ST. LOUIS, MO. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) named two UHSP athletes to the 2026 Men's and Women's Basketball All-Tournament Teams in an announcement on Thursday. Senior guard Landon Engelage and senior forward Reece Halley were among 11 athletes named to each of the men's and women's all-tournament teams.
Landon Engelage put up 15 points in the Eutectic men's quarterfinal loss to Columbia in Springfield, Mo., last Thursday. He went 5-11 from the floor, 3-6 from the arc, and 2-2 from the line while picking up four rebounds and two steals in the game. At the tournament banquet prior to the, Engelage was named 2nd-Team All-Conference after averaging 17.6 points per game and tallying 476 total points this season. He also earned a spot on the AMC Academic All-Conference Team and was named to the AMC Champions of Character team.
Reece Halley finished the Eutectic women's team's 81-77 quarterfinal loss to Mission University with a double double last Friday in Springfield, Mo. She scored 15 points to lead the Eutectics in the game and crashed the boards for a game-high 12 rebounds. At the banquet leading into the tournament, Halley was named AMC All-Conference Honorable Mention after averaging 7.6 boards and 8.4 points per game over the season. Halley also earned AMC Academic All-Conference honors.
