Eutectics Recover to Win Second Game for Split Against Pioneers
PARAGOULD, ARK. – In a marathon week of American Midwest Conference (AMC) games for the Eutectic softball team, UHSP travelled to Arkansas for a doubleheader matchup at Crowley's Ridge College (2-32, 1-7 AMC) on Friday. After dropping the first game 6-4, the Eutectics recovered to comfortably win Game 2, 5-1.
GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS:

- Alicia Kimble hit a two-run homer to left field in the top of the fifth to gain some ground on the Pioneers at 5-3. But, CRC's first batter in the bottom of the inning, Lilly Wessel, responded with her own home run to make it 6-3.
- Sydney Hinojosa's double in the top of the sixth scored Averi Glosemeyer for one more run for UHSP for a 6-4 score, but that was as close as the Eutectics would come to catching the home team.
